The Presidential Library’s portal from Monday to Friday from 6:00 until late in the evening, in Live broadcasts section provides broadcasting of films and video lectures prepared by the Presidential Library, as well as by leading film studios of the country.
Thus, in accordance with the broadcast program from April 13 to 17, each user has the opportunity to learn about the history of the creation of the symbols of the Presidential power - the Standard (flag) of the President of the Russian Federation and the Sign of the President of the Russian Federation, about the declassified details of the first space flight of Yuri Gagarin, to see unique fragments of newsreels, capturing the last minutes before the start of his flight into space. With the help of online broadcasts, one can visit the legendary icebreaker Krasin, make a trip to the shores of North America with the expedition of the Russian fleet of 1863-1864, which has become one of the brightest and most interesting pages in the history of relations between the two countries, and take part in the first US naval mission to Russia in 1866 (the mission of Gustav Fox), which was a kind of response to the allied visit of Russian squadrons to San Francisco and New York at the height of the American Civil War.
The video tour “Peter Arkadyevich Stolypin” which will be shown on the Presidential Library’s portal will illustrate the life and career of an outstanding Russian statesman, the history of the kind of great reformer. As part of the video lectures, one will have the opportunity to enrich their knowledge of the Maritime Charter of Peter the Great and the military legislation of the time of Peter the Great, to learn about the orbital construction of the century - the International Space Station - and the achievements of modern astronomy, as well as to meet with People's Artist of Russia Nikolai Burov.
