The Presidential Library’s portal provides online access to films, lectures and tours

The Presidential Library’s portal from Monday to Friday from 6:00 until late in the evening in Live broadcasts section provides broadcasting of films and video lectures prepared by the Presidential Library, as well as by leading film studios of the country.

Thus, in accordance with the broadcast program, from April 20 to 24, each user has the opportunity to learn about the way the typography began in Russia 450 years ago, to learn about the era of Catherine II, to get familiar with the work of famous artists of the late XIX - early XX centuries - Mikhail Vrubel , Vasily Kandinsky, Kazimir Malevich.

One can also visit the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin of the Novgorod Anthony Monastery and explore unique murals online. Thanks to newsreels, one can see the performance of Vladimir Lenin and witness the last stage of the Berlin operation in 1945.

The video entitled “The Right to the Constitution” is dedicated to the history of constitutional projects in Russia and the video tour “To arrange so that everything becomes new...”: marking the 100th anniversary of the 1917 revolution in Russia” will allow seeing the places of Petrograd where the turning points for our country took place events in 1917 and 1918.

The Smolny Institute of Noble Maidens will be reflected in a documentary film and the video lecture “250 years of the Smolny Institute of Noble Maidens”.
