The Nevsky Forum to launch at the Presidential Library

St. Petersburg will host the International Nevsky Forum on June 24-26, 2021. The main day of the event is June 25 which will be held at the Presidential Library. The official opening of the forum and a panel session will take place within its framework.

Active politicians, public persons, entrepreneurs, experts in the field of public administration and leading scientists from Russia, China, the United States, Finland, Slovakia and India will take part in the large-scale discussion platform. The program of the event is presented on the official website of the Nevsky Forum.

The main theme of this year's event will be Trust and Sustainable Development in Uncertainty: The New Meaning of Public Administration in the Digital Age. Participants will discuss issues related to a green economy, technological independence and digital transformation of management systems.

Among the invited guests of the forum are the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Leningrad Region Dmitry Yalov, Director of the World Bank in Russia Reno Seligmann, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Elena Mukhtiyarova, Deputy Chairman of North-West Bank of Sberbank Anatoly Lokotkov and others.

The business program includes 12 thematic sections during which more than 100 leading experts from Russia, CIS countries, Asia and Europe will take part in round tables, discussions and open lectures. Some of them will be held online.

The key platform of the Nevsky Forum will be the section Big Data and the Social Credit System: Interdisciplinary Research, which will be devoted to such topical issues as the impact of the digitalization of the economy and society on the state and citizens, as well as the protection of information and the system of trust in the network. Also, within the framework of other areas, there will be held discussions on the impact of the epidemic and digitalization on the sustainable development of countries within the framework of integration associations.

The event is organized by the North-West Institute of Management of the RANEPA under the President of the Russian Federation. The Institute annually holds the Nevsky Forum, which is the successor of the International Scientific Forum "Public Administration".

Entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only by prior registration and upon showing a passport: for media representatives - through entrance № 2, participants and guests of the event - through entrance № 1.

In order to reduce the risks of the spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the use of personal protective equipment during the event is mandatory for all attendees.
