1–3 April 2025

From April 1st to April 3rd, 2025, the final stage of the Presidential Library's Olympiad Russia in the Electronic World in Russian as a Foreign Language will be held remotely.

More than a thousand schoolchildren and students from 86 countries participated in the competition to reach the finals, with most of the participants coming from Turkmenistan, China, Vietnam, Mongolia, Abkhazia, Kyrgyzstan, and Egypt.

The Olympiad was organized by the Presidential Library and took place from October 14th, 2024, to April 3rd, 2025. Participants were foreign citizens aged 14 years and older, including schoolchildren and students. The competition consisted of two stages: the qualifying round, which was held remotely from October 14th to February 3rd.

Competitive tests allow us to assess three levels of Russian language proficiency: elementary (A1), basic (A2), and first certification level (B1).

The testing system includes tasks in sections such as Vocabulary and grammar, Writing and Listening. The results will be summarized based on the individual competition, and winners and prize-holders will be awarded with diplomas.

The Olympiad in Russian as a foreign language has been organized by the Presidential Library since 2019, and during this time, thousands of schoolchildren and students have participated. Last academic year, hundreds of students from countries such as Vietnam, Iran, Uzbekistan, Egypt, India, China and Turkmenistan competed for the title of best.
