St. Petersburg Institute of History of Russian Academy of Sciences to present fourth volume of publication devoted to history of Russia in XVI century in Presidential Library
On February 25th, 2025 at 11:00 Moscow time, a presentation of the fourth volume of History of Russia: In 20 Volumes will take place at the Presidential Library of Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, as part of the video lecture series Knowledge of Russia. The volume is titled Russia in the 16th Century: The Creation of a Single State and was prepared by the staff from the Institute of Russian History at the Russian Academy of Sciences, the St. Petersburg Institute of History, the Russian Historical Society, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as other scientists from various scientific centers and institutions, contributed to the preparation of this event.
Visit exhibition dedicated to defenders of Fatherland hosted by Presidential Library
On February 24th, 2025 at 15:00, the grand opening of the Heroes of Our Time exhibition will take place at the Presidential Library. This exhibition is dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day and recognizes the feat of those who participated in the special military operation.

On February 21st, 2025 at 13:00, the Presidential Library will be hosting a one-person show titled No Conversation… It's Going to Happen!, dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the military actions of the Special Military Operation.
Legends of Soviet intelligence and counterintelligence – in Russian cinema and literature
On February 19, 2025, at 16:00 Moscow time, the Presidential Library will host a lecture on how the work of Soviet intelligence and counterintelligence in Russian cinema and literature is presented. Ilya Peterkin, Candidate of Historical and Legal Sciences, veteran of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, will talk about the legends of Soviet intelligence, which became the prototypes of the heroes of fiction, about the image of the Soviet intelligence officer in films and books.
Ethnodictation in indigenous peoples' languages of Russia to be held in Presidential Library
On February 19, 2025, at 12:00, the VI All-Russian Ethno Dictation in the languages of the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation will be held at the Presidential Library.
Historian Yuri Krivosheev to speak as part of video lecture "Knowledge of Russia" at Presidential Library
On February 17th, 2025 at 15:00 Moscow time, there a lecture will be given by Yuri Krivosheev, a Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, and head of the Department of Historical Regional Studies at St. Petersburg State University. On February 13, 2025, at 14:00 Moscow time, the Presidential Library will host a lecture dedicated to Admiral Fyodor Ushakov (1745-1817). The lecture will be part of the Knowledge of Russia video series.
