Research and Practice Conference "Russian archives and the Presidential Library: 10 years of cooperation"

The conference will be open with "Scanning of Archival Documents: Methods and Practice" master-class, which includes consideration of the features of the conversion of archive materials into electronic form.

Within the framework of the conference, it is planned to sum up and outline ways for the development of cooperation between state archives and the Presidential Library on the formation of a national electronic resource in the aspects of the history of the formation of Russian statehood. There will be discussed issues of transferring archival funds into electronic format, features of description and provision of archive materials in a network environment, implementation of joint projects, use of exhibition activities to promote digital archival content.
