About the forum: On 1–2 October 2025, the Presidential Library will hold its annual Knowledge Forum, which will be dedicated to the topic of the Great Patriotic War in the modern educational and enlightenment space
Studying the Great Patriotic War is one of the key priorities in modern education, contributing to the formation of patriotic consciousness, civic responsibility and respect for one's country among young people. Students gain a deeper understanding of the essence of moral principles, civic duty and devotion to the Motherland, as well as the connection between the past and the present by analysing the feat of the Soviet people, who defended the freedom and independence not only of their own country but also of many states in Europe and Asia, and their self-sacrifice in the fight against fascism. The task of the modern teacher is to convey information about military events to the new generation in an accessible and interesting way, using reasonable arguments based on historical facts and eyewitness accounts.
