Museums of Russia: The exhibition of historical exhibits "Worthy of the Magnificent Palace ..." in the Museum-Reserve "Gatchina"

April 27, 2018 the Museum-Reserve "Gatchina" hosts an exhibition of items from the collection of famous Russian collectors the Karisalovs, timed to the 100th anniversary of the suburban palace museums of St. Petersburg. The Armory and Throne Gallery Maria Feodorovna includes a sample of the XVII-century firearms; painting "Departure of the Life Guards for the Highest Show in Krasnoye Selo" N. E. Sverchkova - one of the most popular artists of the second half of the XIX century, whose works were in the offices and reception rooms of the highest personalities.
