Memorial dates of Russia: Exhibition marking 90th anniversary of Alexander Grin’s novel “She who runs on the waves” is opening in Feodosia on the writer’s memorial day

On July 8 2018 in memory of Alexander Grin, the Feodosia Alexander Grin Literary-Memorial Museum is mounting a new exhibition «I am writing about storms, ships, love...» from the museum’s  collection to celebrate the anniversary of his novel «She who runs on the waves», which came out 90 years ago.

To mark the momentous date in Grin’s life some rare editions of the novel «She who runs on the waves» have become a part of a mini-exhibition from the «Life – the draft of fiction» series launched in the museum’s memorial halls. The art exhibition «I am writing about storms, ships, love…» will go on display at the large exhibition halls «Grin and modern time». Visitors will have an opportunity to see works of 30 artists based on the novel «She who runs on the waves» from the museum’s collections. Among them are such famous illustrators of Grin’s works as Yuri Belkovich, Savva Brodsky, Nadya Rusheva, Tatyana Tolstaya, Alexander Khudchenko  and other remarkable artists whose works are associated with the works of Alexander Grin.

The exhibition is running until July 22 2018.
