Museums of Russia: Unique exhibits from the collection of the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg to go on display at Peter and Paul Fortress

The exhibition “The Best. The Collection of the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg” is opening in the Engineer’s House at the Peter and Paul Fortress on November 15, 2018.

The exhibition will showcase the highlights from the collection of the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg: paintings and works of graphic arts of the renowned artists of St. Petersburg-Leningrad, architectural designs, interior and exterior features of St. Petersburg buildings, memorial belongings of eminent residents of St. Petersburg, costumes and household items, which give an insight into the everyday life of our city over the course of three centuries.

Some exhibits will go on display for the first time.
