Regions of Russia: The International Forum of Ancient Cities to debut in Ryazan

This year Ryazan will host the First International Forum of Ancient Cities, which is scheduled for mid. August.

According to its organizers, the event aims to develop and improve relations between countries and regions. They believe, that the forum will promote domestic and international tourism. 

Among the participants are old Russian cities: Vladimir, Yaroslavl, Tver, Tula, Moscow, Velikiy Novgorod, Derbent, Kerch, Vologda, Kazan, Pskov etc. Guests from other countries – China, Spain, Bulgaria, and Vietnam - will also attend the forum. 

The forum’s eventful program will feature round-table talks, conferences and discussions. International experts will focus on the urgent problems of ancient cities – infrastructure development, preservation of cultural heritage and many other issues.
