History of Russia: Exhibition “Witnesses of History. Participants and Organizers of the 1941 Parade in Kuybyshev” currently underway in Samara

The Samara Regional Research Library has launched the interactive exhibition entitled “Witnesses of History. Participants and Organizers of the 1941 Parade in Kuybyshev”. The exposition showcases photographs and newsreels, which cast light on events of November 7 of the first year of the war. Some materials on display are on loan from the State Archive of the Russian Federation.

The exhibition presents archival documents, first-hand accounts of participants and witnesses of the parade, materials from periodicals, and publications. Visitors will also learn about organizers and participants of the historic parade. On display are books from the library holdings.    

The exhibition in the Samara Regional Research Library will run until November 16.
