Museums of Russia: Aivazovsky Gallery Museum Block in Feodosia to open in 2022

The Aivazovsky Art Gallery Museum Block in Feodosia will be inaugurated in 2022, Vladimir Medinsky, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation made the announcement at the meeting of the board of trustees of Aivazovsky Feodosia Art Gallery in the Ministry of Culture of Russia.

The project of the museum block will proceed through several stages including the restoration of the main building and construction of the open museum repository. All the while the museum will be open to visitors. As part of the project in 2019 “Aivazovsky” exhibition will travel throughout Russia. The State Tretyakov Gallery will provide methodological assistance to the new museum.
