Russian Culture Abroad: “Lermontov as an Artist” exhibition mounted in Tbilisi

The V. I. Dal State Museum of the History of Russian Literature (Moscow) presents the travelling exhibition “Lermontov as an Artist” at the Giorgi Leonidze State Museum of Georgian Literature (Tbilisi).

The exhibition showcases reproductions of works on loan from the State Museum of Literature. Mikhail Lermontov’s artistic heritage is closely related to his literary oeuvre. The V. I. Dal State Museum of the History of Russian Literature houses the large collection of Mikhail Lermontov’s works. Paintings and drawings occupy a special place in it. The exhibition in Tbilisi will be open until February 28, 2019.
