Commemorative Dates of Russia: Exhibition marking the 125th anniversary of the birth of writer Vitaly Bianki kicked off in Novgorod Region

The Museum of Borovichi and Borovichi District, the branch of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve, presents an exhibition “I Wish to be Reborn as a Bird”, which is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of writer Vitaly Bianki.

There are more than twenty items on display: rare archival documents from the museum collections, photographs, manuscripts, different editions of the writer’s books, stories written during his stay in Borovichi District, his correspondence with regional historians from the town of Borovichi.   

The exhibition will be open through April 26.
