On February 20, 2019 the Surikov Krasnoyarsk Art Museum is mounting an exhibition “Surikov. Capture of a Snow Town”.
“Capture of a Snow Town” – is the only major picture by Vasily Surikov, which he painted in Krasnoyarsk. The work on this painting saved the artist during a hard time he had after the loss of his beloved wife.
