Internet and History: The Ministry of Defence of Russia published unique documents on the history of the Crimean offensive on its website

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the Crimean offensive the Ministry of Defence of Russia declassified unique documents housed in the Central Archive of the Russian Ministry of Defence, which spotlight heroism of defenders of the Crimean peninsula.

Archive specialists have prepared unique documents, some of them had been previously kept secret and only some historians had access to them. Most of the released documents are focused on the course of the Crimean offensive – liberation of Crimean cities – Sevastopol, Simferopol, Sudak, Yalta, and Kerch.
