History of Russia: Exhibition “Glory of Russian Arms” presented in Moscow

The Kolomenskoye Moscow State Integrated Museum-Reserve is mounting the exhibition “Glory of Russian Arms”, which continues the series of military and historical exhibitions “For the Glory of the Fatherland!”. It is organized by the Tula State Museum of Arms jointly with the Moscow State Integrated Museum-Reserve and the State Archive of the Russian Federation. 

The exposition in the museum-reserve spans three centuries of the military history of Russia, from the 18th century up to the mid-20th century, and consists of nine sections. On display are original cold steel weapons and firearms, which were used by the Russian army in the battles of the Seven Years’ War (1756-1763), the Russo-Turkish Wars, the Patriotic War of 1812, the Caucasian War (1817-1864), the Crimean War (1853-1864), World War I and the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition will be open until June 9, 2019.
