Internet and History: Ahead of the Victory Day the Ministry of Defence of Russia released unique front-line photographs of commanders of the Great Patriotic War

The Ministry of Defence of Russia has launched a new multimedia section featuring photographs, which show Victory commanders on the frontlines – during key strategic operations, famous battles, as well as before and after them – that is from the first until the last day of the war. It is part of the series of projects of the Ministry of Defence, which are dedicated to key figures of the Great Patriotic War.

Most of the photographs, which have been made available to the general public, have never been published before. In the multimedia section Internet users can study the materials, which include previously unknown photographs from family albums of famous commanders.
