Languages of Peoples of the World: The Ibero-American Cultural Center for Promotion of National Cultures and Languages of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries opened in Moscow

On May 21, 2019 – the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, the Rudomino State Library for Foreign Literature (Moscow) held the inauguration of the Ibero-American Cultural Center. 

The new center, set up with support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia and Ibero-American embassies, will become a universal platform for promotion of national cultures and languages of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries.

The center will provide access to new electronic resources, databases, audio and video materials. It will become the venue for open lessons, roundtable meetings, exhibitions, book presentations, lectures and other events focused on cultures of the region.
