Museums of Russia: Museum of the Great Bridge and Museum of Writing to be set up in Novgorod in 2019

At the presentation of the development concept of the Novgorod State Museum-Reserve Natalya Grigoryeva, Director General, announced that the Museum of the Great Bridge and the Museum of Writing would be set up in Novgorod in 2019.

The exposition of the Museum of the Great Bridge will be dedicated to the oldest bridge in Eastern Europe. The exhibits of the future museum are results of the underwater-archaeological research on the site of the medieval Veliky Novgorod. Moreover, this year the Museum of Writing will be opened in the Likhud Brothers Building.
