Commemorative dates of Russia: The National Pushkin Museum launches celebrations to mark the 220th anniversary of the poet’s birth

The 220th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin is marked on June 6 this year. On this occasion the National Pushkin Museum (St. Petersburg) has prepared a program, which is traditionally launched in the museum at Moyka River Embankment, 12 and in the Memorial Lyceum Museum.

The program includes: “Offering to the Poet” ceremony in the Lyceum Garden, “Pushkin Day in Russia” celebration at Moyka River Embankment, 12, presentation of #HappyBirthdayPushkin220 video campaign in the Concert Hall. The exhibition “Many Faces of Pushkin” will be staged in the museum’s Green Hall (Moyka River Embankment, 12).
