On June 18, 2019 the Museum of Urban Sculpture, the New Exhibition Hall (St. Petersburg) is presenting the exhibition “Leningrad. On the Eve", which is dedicated to the history of the city from the moment of its renaming to the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.
“Leningrad. On the Eve" is a kind of an illustrated guide to Leningrad in 1924-1941. Agitation posters of the 1920s-1930s, interactive maps, models and installations will give a chance to look at the inter-war Leningrad through the eyes of its residents, who were not aware that there was the most terrible and heroic period of the city’s history ahead of them.
