History and Culture: The Pushkin Museum-Reserve presents “Voronich – a Suburb of Pskov” exhibition

The exhibition “Voronich – a Suburb of Pskov” is presented in Pushkinskiye Gory. The exhibition is based on the materials from the collections of the Mikhailovskoye Pushkin State Museum-Reserve and the Pskov State Museum-Reserve.

The exposition showcases icons dating from 17th — first half of the 19th century, copper castings, church items, works of fine arts, plans of a Pskov suburb, which were made in the 20th century, and photographs, which include works made at the turn of the centuries by Yuly Shokalsky – famous Russian scientist, oceanographer, cartographer, chairman of the Russian Geographical Society, A. P. Kern’s grandson. The exhibition “Voronich – a Suburb of Pskov” will be on display in Trigorskoye Memorial Estate until November 9, 2019.
