International initiatives: A campaign for preservation of historical memory and development of relations between regions of Russia and Canada launched

The project “The Pride of Russia” – a joint campaign intended for cooperation between public organizations of Kursk (Russia) and the Cultural Heritage Foundation (Toronto, Canada) was mounted in the early August in Kursk. Its purpose is to preserve the historical memory of people and strengthen friendly relations between the regions of Russia and Canada. The project is implemented with the support of the Administration of Kursk.

Organizers are going to launch an interactive museum that will take a great deal of effort. Artifacts, which were found on the sites of the Battle of Kursk during the Great Patriotic War and in the post-war years, will become the museum’s exhibits.
