World Memory: Exhibition “The War was Today… Marking the 80th Anniversary of the Outbreak of World War II” to open in Chelyabinsk

On October 10, 2019 the State Historical Museum of the Southern Urals (Chelyabinsk) is presenting the exhibition "The War was Today ... Marking the 80th Anniversary of the Outbreak of World War II", which is part of the "Culture” national project.

Texts, documents and accompanying photographs from publicly available sources and museum’s collections spotlight the political sphere, economic and social development, culture and everyday life (in the world, the USSR and Chelyabinsk Region). The exhibition features a lot of audio and video materials.
