History and Culture: Monuments of decorative and applied art on display at the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood Museum in St. Petersburg

The exhibition “Feast Days of Jesus Christ. Monuments of Decorative and Applied Art” will be mounted on October 15, 2019 at the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood Museum (St. Petersburg).

The exhibition showcases more than 70 loaned items from the State Museum of the History of Religion. The museum houses a large collection of religious objects of decorative and applied art. Most items date from the 17th – early 21st centuries. Visitors will have an opportunity to see a part of this collection: objects made of enamel, ivory, mother-of-pearl, as well as Easter eggs. The exhibition will be open until December 15, 2019.
