30 October 2019

On November 1, 2019 the Dal State Museum of the History of Russian Literature (the Ostroukhov House in Moscow) is presenting the exhibition under the title “Russian Sentimentalism: Punctuation Marks”, which spotlights the most emotional movement in the Russian literature and culture.

Visitors get an opportunity to travel to the 18th century – the epoch that witnessed the search for a new language for expressing the entire variety of feelings and emotions. The role of punctuation marks changed – they were used for conveying emotions of characters. The exhibition will be open until January 24, 2020.
