History and Culture: The State Historical Museum in Moscow presents “Fabergé and Court Jewelers” exhibition

On November 20, 2019 the State Historical Museum (Moscow) is presenting the exhibition “Fabergé and Court Jewelers” focused on the Russian jewelry art of the 2nd half of the 19th c. – early 20th c., which is famous all over the world for its beauty and elegance. The exhibition showcases roughly 300 exhibits dating from the epoch of the Russian Renaissance, including items from the collections of military museums, which have never gone on display before.

Carl Fabergé, a supplier to the Russian Imperial Court and many royal courts in Europe, played a special role in the flowering of the jewelry art. His name has become synonymous with a jewelry genius.

The exhibition will be open until April 30, 2020.
