Museums of Russia: All-Russian Museum of Decorative Art to present new exhibitions

The All-Russian Museum of Decorative Art plans to create several new exhibitions within the next three years, reported the director of the museum Elena Titova.

“Within the next three years, the new expositions such as “Traditional Folk Toy”(2020), “100 Masterpieces of Russian Art Crafts” (November 2020), and “Under the Sign of the Hammer and Sickle. Marking the 100th anniversary of the USSR foundation” (2021- 2022)” will be created.

In February 2020, the museum will open a large-scale exhibition "Empire and the Caucasus", which will feature exhibits from five private collections and five museums.

Besides, in 2020, visitors could visit expositions "Labor", "Leisure", "Modern Porcelain", "250th anniversary of A. I. Osterman-Tolstoy. The History of Osterman Estate”, “Invented and Made in Russia”, “Modern Design of Objects”, “195th Anniversary of the Zhostovo Handicraft”, “Oeuvre of N. Rozov” and “Pilots of Special Purpose. Marking the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War”.
