Marking the Year of Memory and Glory: The project “Victory: We Should Live and Remember!” to launch in the Novgorod Regional Library

The project “Victory: We Should Live and Remember!”, which is marking the Year of Memory and Glory, launched in the Novgorod Regional Universal Scientific Library.

From January to June 2020, the reading room of the library holds the screenings of documentaries and fiction movies, newsreels, and interviews marking the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The first film screenings in the framework of the project took place on January 27, on the Day of the Complete Liberation of Leningrad from the Nazis Siege. The film “Blockade Frescoes” directed by Alexey Oliferuk, was presented to the audience.

The next film screenings will take place on February 21, with the “Mysticism of War” documentary. The final event will be on June 22, marking the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.
