Information Technology and Culture: Novgorod Art Museum to launch a multimedia guide

The Novgorod Art Museum will launch the “Artefact” multimedia guide (Guide to museums with augmented reality technology) through the “Museum Porcelain Workshop" exhibition in 2020 in the framework of the “Digital Culture” federal project. At the first stage, 40 exhibits will be released on the "Artefact" platform. It focuses on porcelain items dating from the late XIX - early XXI centuries.

Previously the Novgorod Art Museum launched the "Cultural Heritage of Novgorod Monasteries" exhibition with augmented reality technology.
"Artefact" is a project of the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the “Culture. RF ” portal of Russian cultural heritage. It makes a visit to the museum more interesting. It is necessary to download the Artefact mobile application to use the guide. The application is available on the App Store and Google Play.
