Internet and History: “Krasnaya Zvezda” newspaper's editions of the war period launched on the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation website

The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation provided free access to the editions of the “Krasnaya Zvezda” newspaper, which was the central organ of the People's Commissariat of Defence of the Soviet Union during the Great Patriotic War. The newspaper is available in a special "Krasnaya Zvezda": from Brest to Berlin" section on the military department's website.

Almost one and a half thousand newspaper editions from the archives of the Ministry of Defence and the Russian State Library, issued from June 22, 1941 to May 9, 1945, were digitized and released.

The section will be updated every day by the daily editions from the end of February 1945 until Victory Day.
