21 May 2020

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts launched the "Another War" project, devoted to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory. It features the life of the museum during the war. The project consists of two parts: "Facts" and "Look".

The "Facts" section showcases archival documents and photographs, letters, and personal diaries of employees who worked in the museum during the war, fragments of protocols and orders on the most important decisions of those years, and preserved images of the museum of 1941-1944. These materials are available in the Virtual Pushkin Museum, which provides a unique tour of the museum with an audio guide.

The second part of the project is arranged by the participants of the "Pushkinsky. Youth" program. They share their impressions of the tragic events of the XX century and present their personal experience of the museum's history. This section includes texts, videos, audio records, and other materials prepared by young people of 15-20 years old.
