Internet and History of Moscow: English version of the #Moscowwithyou project launched

The #Moscowwithyou project, launched by the Moscow Committee of Tourism, became available in English. Now, foreign users may explore Moscow, its leading museums, significant cultural and exhibition programs.

It features the cultural venues that provide online tours in English. There are the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy, the Museum of Cosmonautics, the Moscow Planetarium, the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center, the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art (Moscow), the Moscow Zoo, the Museum of Russian Impressionism.

Now, more than 50 tours are available with English subtitles. Their number will gradually increase. Soon there will be video tours around the significant sights of the capital and the Moscow metro, arranged together with the Museum of Moscow. They will allow everyone to explore the city and learn interesting facts about one of the most beautiful metros in the world. Also, the project's website releases excursions fully performed in English, for example, a tour of the exhibition "The Russian Fairy Tale. From Vasnetsov to the Present" of the State Tretyakov Gallery, "Rockets and Their Fly" of the Museum of Cosmonautics, a sightseeing tour of the Moscow Zoo and excursions around the streets of the capital.

Besides online excursions, foreign users have an opportunity to watch records of the performances of the Great Moscow State Circus, as well as selections of opera masterpieces from the Russian Society of the Salzburg Festival Friends. The #Moscowwithyou online platform also releases a video of the "Moskvichi" project featuring stories of ordinary people with their own idea of Moscow. It is made up of ten stories. Each story is devoted to one person in particular profession. City residents share personal stories about Moscow.
