Society and Culture: Exhibition "Selected for Half a Century. Painting, Graphics and Sculpture of the Caucasus and Central Asia" presented in Moscow

The exhibition "Selected for Half a Century. Painting, Graphics and Sculpture of the Caucasus and Central Asia" is opened in the State Museum of Oriental Art. It will run until November 8, 2020. The exposition presents about a hundred works by outstanding masters who worked in the second half of the XX - early XXI century and combined in their art traditions of the East and West.

Over the past half-century, the collection of paintings, graphics and sculptures of the State Museum of Oriental Art has increased five times over. The Museum expresses gratitude to the artists for donated works.

Part of the exhibits is showcased for the first time, before, it was available in the depositories only. It also continues the permanent exposition of the fine arts of the Caucasus and Central Asia, introducing to the artistic processes and vivid art personalities of the East.
