Internet and Museums: Moscow Ambulance Museum launched online tours
The Moscow Ambulance website mos03.ru launched online tours of the Ambulance Museum.
An Internet portal provides an opportunity for a free visit to the exhibition, a virtual tour of the museum, information about the history of the development of Moscow Ambulance and its creator - Alexander Sergeevich Puchkov.
The museum exposition consists of three parts: Moscow Ambulance in the pre-revolutionary period, the establishment of an ambulance station, led by Alexander Sergeevich Puchkov, and its activity, as well as further development and the present day.
The Moscow Ambulance Museum was opened after restoration on the eve of the 133rd anniversary of Alexander Puchkov. It showcased a diorama and a sculptural composition devoted to the events of the Great Patriotic War, as well as exhibits from the Soviet period to the present day.
The improved exhibition presents documents and photographs, methodological aids and instructions, the ambulance doctors' uniform of different times, medical equipment and communication devices from the Soviet period to the early 2000s, models of the first carriages and cars, employees medals and awards for professionalism and courage, as well as fragments of shells and air bombs, showing serious hurts of the ambulance staff during the war. All exhibits reveal the life and work of Moscow Ambulance from the very beginning.
The Ambulance Museum was opened on September 8, 2017, on the eve of the 870th Moscow anniversary. The ceremony was timed to coincide with the 130th anniversary of Moscow Ambulance Station creator - Alexander Sergeevich Puchkov.
