
Information Technologies and Culture: 60th Virtual Concert Hall launched in Chelyabinsk Region in 2020 as part of the "Culture" national project
The Recreational Centre "Utes" in Trekhgorny (Chelyabinsk Region) launched a Virtual Concert Hall.
It is the 60th Virtual Concert Hall, created in 2020. It's opening in the closed town in the South Ural became possible thanks to the "Culture" national project.
The first concert program included music performed by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic.
The launch of the Virtual Concert Halls is a significant event for the cultural life of the Russian towns. Now music lovers have a unique opportunity to watch concerts and live online broadcasts of performances by great musicians and popular orchestras.
Virtual Concert Halls in Yuzhnouralsk, Satka and Bakal have already begun their work within the framework of the "Culture" national project in the South Urals.
In October 2020, Virtual Concert Halls were opened in Novgorod, Smolensk, Sverdlovsk, Lipetsk Regions, Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories.
