Information Technology and Culture: New multimedia project "Memory Atlas of the National Guard" launched

Rosgvardia has launched a new multimedia project "Memory Atlas", which marks the 210th anniversary of the formation of the law enforcement forces and the 5th anniversary of the formation of the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.

The "Memory Atlas of the National Guard" includes photographs and information about almost two thousand objects. These are educational institutions named in honour of the perished soldiers and officers of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, about one and a half thousand monuments and sculptures erected in memory of the heroes.

The project is an interactive map of Russia, divided into regions. The tab of each region provides information about soldiers and officers of the National Guard of the Russian Federation who heroically died performing military and official duties. It allows finding cities and streets, educational institutions, military and special equipment named after the National Guard, and monuments to the heroes.
