The Rumyantsev Hall of the Russian State Library has launched the exhibition "Literary Heritage and Life’s Journey of Mikhail Afanasyevich Bulgakov", timed to coincide with the 130th anniversary of the writer's birth.
The spring exhibition of the department of manuscripts is dedicated to one of the most mysterious writers of the 20th century, whose career is inextricably linked with the history of our country: the tragic events of the Civil War, the first steps of Soviet power, the emergence of a new Soviet art.
The exhibition features the writer's creative manuscripts, which are side by side with books from his library, original illustrations for works, photographs of Bulgakov's relatives.
