The digitization of petroglyphic drawings began in Amur Region. The specialists will create six 3D panoramas of ancient rock engravings located in hard-to-reach areas - Arkharinsk District in the south and Zeysk and Tynda Districts in the north. The result will be a series of free VR tours of different parts of Amur Region. The Amur Museum of Local History will provide VR equipment. Tours will be launched at the end of July.

Petroglyphic drawings were discovered in the XIX century and studied in the 1960s. Many of them are rock engravings and sacred places from the Neolithic era to the late Middle Ages.
