Information Technology and Culture: Virtual concert hall launched in Chudovo, Novgorod Region

Chudovo, Novgorod Region, opened the 10th virtual concert hall in that area. It operates on the base of the Svetoch Cultural Centre.

The concert hall was created very quickly. During the first year of the project, virtual halls appeared in Veliky Novgorod, Pestov and Kholm. In 2020, Borovichi, Okulovka, Malaya Vishera, Valdai, Soltsy and Staraya Russa joined the unique digital cultural project.

Novgorod Region is one of the Russian leaders in terms of creating and equipping virtual concert halls. The region was one of the first to complete the federal project "Virtual Concert Hall", which is part of the "Culture" national project. It aims to create equal opportunities for access to the best of classical music.
