Memorable Dates of Russia: Exhibition "Rachmaninov: Famous and Unknown", marking the 150th composer's anniversary celebrated in 2023, presented in Tambov

The exhibition "Rachmaninov: Famous and Unknown" was opened in the Tambov Regional Library. The exposition features digitized music collections, documents, photographs and manuscripts. Some of them are presented for the first time, including passports of Sergei Rachmaninoff and articles from foreign newspapers.

A separate section is devoted to the composer's hobbies, including cars, boats and card games. All exhibits are provided by the Russian National Museum of Music. The exhibition in Tambov is part of the program marking the 150th anniversary of Rachmaninoff, celebrated in 2023.
