Peoples of Russia: Moscow to hold the Second All-Russian Forum "Peoples of Russia"

On November 18-19, 2021, the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs will hold the II All-Russian Forum "Peoples of Russia" in Moscow. Its purpose is to popularize the Russian experience in ensuring the sustainable development of interethnic and interreligious spheres.

The Forum will contribute to "the study and development of mechanisms for strengthening the all-Russian civil identity and the unity of the Russian nation, interethnic peace and harmony".

"The main Forum agenda is the discussion and search for solutions of urgent tasks of state national policy. It intends to increase the efficiency and professional competencies of state officials, municipal employees and representatives of public organizations in the field of interethnic relations, and to build business communication between the forum participants", the organizers stated.

The Forum includes six sections and an all-Russian seminar devoted to issues of state ethnic policy. This meeting will involve representatives of regional authorities from all over Russia. The plenary session will take place on Friday. Its topic will be "Priorities of State Nationality Policy in Current Geopolitical Situation".
