Information Technology and Culture: Maly Theatre launched the AR application

The State Academic Maly Theatre (Moscow) presents the AR application - Maly Theatre. New Dimension. It allows the visitors to learn more about the history of the theatre and discover interesting facts about famous playwrights, directors and actors. The application is available on the App Store and Google Play.

The interactive exhibition of the Maly Theatre is available by scanning with smartphone camera AR markers located near separate objects. The application provides information about the monument to Alexander Ostrovsky in front of the theatre building, sculptures of Alexander Pushkin, Mikhail Lermontov, Nikolai Gogol and Alexander Griboyedov in the hall, a portrait of Mikhail Schepkin and other objects. By scanning various markers, users may explore the career of theatrical figures and their brief biographies.
