IT and culture: Virtual tour of the archaeological finds of the Crimea launched
A virtual tour of the exhibition "The World of the Barbarians of Tavria and Chersonese, Rome, Byzantium", during which anyone has opportunity to learn about the results of the largest archaeological excavations in the history of Crimea, is now available on the website of the Institute of Archeology (IA) RAS.
When viewing the exposition it is also possible to choose a tour: in this case, the automatic sequential viewing mode, which is accompanied by an audio recording of the tour, is activated. An audio guide with a detailed story about both the exhibition and each exhibit can be switched on selectively in the free viewing mode. As added at the institute it is possible to learn about the exhibition in VR mode: this will require VR helmets or smartphones with a VR headset.
