Libraries and Society: The XX Forum of Public Libraries of Russia “Bibliocaravan – 2022” to take place in Krasnoyarsk Region

On September 5-9, 2022, the XX Forum of Public Libraries of Russia Bibliocaravan – 2022 will take place in Krasnoyarsk and in several other towns of Krasnoyarsk Region. It was organized by the State Universal Research Library of Krasnoyarsk Region with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Krasnoyarsk Region, the Russian Library Association and the Krasnoyarsk Library Association.

The theme of the forum is “Library in the Contemporary Context”. Its main goal is to introduce professional community to the best practices of library work, spiritual and material culture of Krasnoyarsk Region.

The professional program will allow to exchange the experiences in searching new methods of the effective organization of public library service, the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage. Professional meetings with the leading specialists of the library business, visits to Krasnoyarsk and Krasnoyarsk Region libraries, and tours will also take place.
