Science and Society: VII All-Russian Youth Forum “Science of the Future – Science of the Young” takes place in Novosibirsk

Students and postgraduates from over 40 regions of Russia participate in the finale of the contest of research papers that will take place within the VII All-Russian Youth Forum Science of the Future – Science of the Young on August 23-26, 2022 in Novosibirsk. Since 2014, the forum has been annually organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in various cities of the country.

In 2022, over two and a half thousand applications from students and postgraduates, representing almost every Russian higher education institution, have been submitted to take part in the contest, directed at ten scientific spheres. Based on the scientific expertise, 345 applicants have been chosen to take part in the finale. In Novosibirsk, future scientists will have to present their works within poster and oral sessions in front of an authoritative jury that will include famous Russian researchers and experts.

The main goal of the forum Science of the Future – Science of the Young is to educate the new generation of Russian scientists through the formation of young people’s views on science as the most important resource in the development of society, a way of self-realization and a career-building path. Participation in the event gives young researchers an opportunity to learn the newest results of work of the leading Russian and foreign scientists, to take part in master-classes on building a successful scientific career, to get a valuable experience of multidiscipline communication.

This year, Science of the Future – Science of the Young takes place in the Novosibirsk State Technical University and is a part of the International Forum Technoprom-2022.
