President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed the decrees on celebrating the 100th anniversary since the foundation of Leningrad Region and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra.

«In relation to the 100th anniversary since the foundation of Leningrad Region in 2027, I decree to accept the proposition of the Government of the Russian Federation on celebrating in 2027 the 100th anniversary since the foundation of Leningrad Region», as stated in one of the decrees, published on the official portal of legal information.

Regional and local authorities are recommended to participate in the preparation and celebration of this date.

Similar decisions have been made in regards to Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area as well. The 100th anniversary since the foundation of this region will be celebrated in 2030, according to a decree.
