History of Russia: All-Russian Military and Patriotic Dictation held for the first time in 2022

On November 15, 2022, the All-Russian Military and Patriotic Dictation is held in the country for the first time. The event is set to be hosted annually. The Dictation takes place on Conscript’s Day.

The Dictation is dedicated to the Russian military history and is organized by the educational and methodological centre of military and patriotic education Avangard with the support of the Znanie Russian Society.

The main goal of the Dictation is to expand and deepen the knowledge of society about famous military battles and victories of the Russian army, life and service of great commanders, pieces of art, literature that reflect the country’s military history, as well as to give young people patriotic education. The duration of the Dictation will be 60 minutes. During this time, participants will have to answer 60 questions.

The event is held in both traditional and online formats. The Dictation takes place in studios of the Znanie Society in Moscow, Arkhangelsk, Yekaterinburg, Saransk, Vladivostok, Vologda, Kursk, Kazan, Sochi and Tula, as well as in pedagogical higher education institutions and educational centers.
